Fillers

Ideal For:

  • Fine lines and wrinkles

  • Loss of volume and elasticity

  • Thin lips

Fillers are used to restore shape to the face, rejuvenate fine lines, and contour the lips. There are different types and brands of dermal fillers that are used to restore and rejuvenate the face. Hyaluronic Acid Fillers use hyaluronic acid, a natural substance found in all living organisms that hydrates skin by holding in water. It also acts as a cushion and lubricant to reduce damage to the skin. Hyaluronic acid is an important component of youthful, supple and elastic skin, and helps the skin maintain volume.

Botox

Ideal For:

  • Crow’s feet

  • Deep lines and wrinkles

  • Frown lines

  • Hyperhydrosis or excessive sweating

Botox is a purified protein that is injected in minuscule amounts into the appropriate muscle, causing it to relax and temporarily improve the appearance of moderate to severe frown lines and crow’s feet. It is also used to treat hyperhydrosis or excessive sweating. After treatment, a patient treated with Botox can still frown and smile, but when they do, the expression wrinkles around the eyes and forehead are diminished. Correction with Botox is very natural and most patients feel that they have a more wide-eyed, refreshed, and more youthful appearance. Botox correction lasts an average of four months, however, after repeated injections, the results may last even longer.

A Liquid Facelift is a technique for injecting advanced dermal fillers, such as JUVÉDERM®, Radiesse® and Restylane® to lift and contour facial features. A Liquid Face Lift will typically last from one to two years, depending on the products used and the facial area treated. JUVEDERM®, Radiesse®, Restylane® and Perlane® will typically last up to a year or more. Sculptra® Aesthetic lasts up to two years, but does not show immediate results. If BOTOX® or Dysport® is utilized with the dermal filler, then the results may last even longer.

KYBELLA® is a prescription medicine used in adults to improve the appearance and profile of moderate to severe fat below the chin (submental fat), also called “double chin.” The active ingredient in KYBELLA® is synthetic deoxycholic acid. Deoxycholic acid is a naturally occurring molecule in the body that aids in the breakdown and absorption of dietary fat. When injected into the fat beneath the chin, KYBELLA® destroys fat cells, resulting in a noticeable reduction in fullness under the chin. Once destroyed, these cells can no longer store or accumulate fat, so further treatment is not expected once you reach your desired aesthetic goal.

Ideal For:

  • Removing unwanted hair

Laser hair removal is a medical procedure that uses a concentrated beam of light (laser) to remove unwanted hair. During laser hair removal, a laser emits a light that is absorbed by the pigment (melanin) in the hair. The light energy is converted to heat, which damages the tube-shaped sacs within the skin (hair follicles) that produce hairs. This damage inhibits or delays future hair growth.
